The Holiday Hustle brings families and friends together for a festive 5K race! Filled with laughter, music, and community spirit, you can run, jog, or stroll your way into the holiday season while supporting Prepare2Fly’s mission to empower and uplift our community!
The 2026 Holiday Hustle will be on December 5th!
This year’s fun theme is “Runnin’ with my Gnomies” Can’t wait to see all of you there!
HISTORY OF THE RACE: On December 14, 2024, Prepare2Fly hosted the inaugural Holiday Hustle 5K Fun Run in Crockett, TX, with 64 enthusiastic participants braving the rainy weather to join the festivities. Despite the drizzle, the event’s cheerful holiday spirit shone through as participants of all ages showed up in festive attire, including colorful holiday leggings, reindeer antlers, red tutus, and more.
The race winner, Jayden Mendez, a talented young cross-country runner from Latexo, TX, led the pack with an impressive performance. We were also thrilled to welcome a lively group of cross-country runners from Sam Houston State University who brought additional energy to the event.
The Holiday Hustle is set to become an annual fundraiser for Prepare2Fly, and we’re already looking forward to making it even bigger and better next year! Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event such a success.
This year’s Holiday Hustle 2026 is set for December 5, 2026 at Crockett Civic Center! We hope to see you there!
